Maple Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips


  • In a large bowl, stir together melted butter and Maple Syrup. Add egg, stirring until combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients, stirring until completely combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and prepare cookie sheets by lining with parchment paper.
  • Scoop a tablespoon of cookie dough and drop onto cookie sheet. Place them at least 2 inches apart.
  • Bake about 10 minutes.
  • Allow cookies to cool completely on cookie sheet. Enjoy.
